This eight-page story depicts events in the city of Seattle during the beginning of Hell on Earth.
This eight-page story was originally published in black and white and given away to fans at the 2011 Emerald City Comicon (March 4–6, in Seattle). The issue also contained a five-page sketchbook with comments by Guy Davis, and a one-page Hellmail.
The story was collected in color in the B.P.R.D.: Hell on Earth—New World Trade Paperback.
Carla Giarocco sits looking down on the remains of a monster recently killed in the rubble of Seattle. She contacts Kate Corrigan and assures her that the creature is dead. A local police man walks up and starts talking to her. He asks if she thinks humanity can win. Giarocco responds that she does not know. Giarocco says that her three year old son is one of the things that keeps her fighting.
