|Occupation||Senior BPRD Agent|
|First Comic Appearance||Hellboy: Dr Carp's Experiment (Un-named Character). Hellboy: The Ghoul (First named Appearance)|
Pauline Raskin is a former B.P.R.D. field agent. Pauline still works with the Bureau, but behind a desk. One of her responsibilities is training new B.P.R.D agents.
In 1991, a BPRD field team is sent to Long Island to investigate the former mansion house of Dr Carp, grand master of the Heliopic Brotherhood of Ra. Pauline informs Hellboy of the history of the site, including the rumours of hauntings and supernatural occurances which have ocured there. Her relaxed manner and Hellboy's reference to a previous case suggest they have worked together before.
In 1992, a BPRD field team is sent to England on the trail of a ghoul who has been desecrating graves across the country resulting in a dramatic conclusion in London. Near the start of the story Pauline is seen interviewing Mrs Stokes, the wife of the Ghoul. After Pauline shows her some pictures taken in Fox Hill cemetery it becomes clear Mrs Stokes is unaware of her husband's true nature
As of current events, Pauline remains a member of the B.P.R.D though no longer active in field work. She is responsible for training new agents, one of her former trainees being Agent Nichols. While running into each other at the vending machine, Pauline and Nichols observe Professor J.H. O'Donnell and Pauline explains to Nichols how O'Donnell became the eccentric he is today.
She is also credited as an interviewer of Fernando (The Blue Fury) Landa for the B.P.R.D. in Mexico City on September 3rd, 1989 on the first page and second panel of "Hellboy Versus the Aztec Mummy" published in Dark Horse Presents #7.
