SirEdwardGrey suggested that we have different articles for the characters and series to differentiate. So there would be a Hellboy character page and a Hellboy series page. Likewise for B.P.R.D., Abe Sapien and Lobster Johnson. There is no character named Witchfinder so it only requires a series article.
This would be an oppurtunity to clean up this page: The Hellboy Universe Comics.

- I'm not sure how to implement this. There are so many pages that link Hellboy, that to track down all those links and correct them to either Hellboy (Character) or "Hellboy (Series)" would take quite a long time. I was thinking of turning the current Hellboy page into a redirect page which basically says "do you mean the series or the character"? And then links to either Hellboy (Character) or "Hellboy (Series)".
- Does anyone have any better ideas about how we might implement this?
- Additionally, I think that once each individual series has its own page, this page, The Hellboy Universe Comics, would become largely superfluous and could be simplified quite substantially (It would certainly be good to remove that excessive section on internal numbering).

- It would be a long and arduous task, but I think renaming the pages sooner rather than later would be the best course of action. I would prefer to keep the character page named Hellboy, since people usually look for the character when they search his name, and the series page, like you already suggested, can be called Hellboy (Series). Although making it a redirect also sounds like a good idea. I'm open to both.
- I'm not sure The Hellboy Universe Comics works as an article because of practicality. It might be best if it was List of Hellboy/BPRD comics, or something of that sort, maybe. It depends how detailed the article should be.
