Iron Shoes is a short movie based on the short story of the same name. Hellboy goes to a ruined tower to catch a monster wearing the titular shoes. When he catches the beast he brings it to a church, throws it near the cross and leaves the resultant mess to the preacher.
Notable differences with the comic[]
This short stays quite true to the comic, the only differences of note being that instead of sustaining multiple wounds from the falling spears only one catches Hellboy in the thigh. The Iron Shoes bogey is also rather lighter in color, more a fleshy red-orange. Furthermore, his death is a bit more detailed. Lastly, the two folkloric experts at the beginning of the comic are missing from the short.
